Setting up a tracking link takes less than a minute, and the value compounds every time someone clicks it.
How to create one
- If you haven't already, enable Tracking Links from Settings → Advanced — it then appears in your sidebar. (Setting one up during your first-time setup tour does this for you automatically.)
- Go to Tracking Links in the sidebar.
- Click Add Tracking Link and enter a label, such as "Instagram Bio" or "Email Signature".
- HotiLINK generates a unique link in the format
hotilink.com/yourname/go/slug. Copy it. - Use this link — instead of your plain profile URL — as your bio link on that specific platform.
- In Analytics, the traffic sources section shows visits broken down by each tracking link, so you can compare them side by side.
Tip
Create one tracking link per platform — Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube bio, email signature — and you will know exactly which channel drives real traffic to your page, instead of relying on HotiLINK's automatic best-effort recognition.
