Profile Views vs. Link Clicks vs. Short Link Clicks

HotiLINK tracks three related but distinct types of activity, and it helps to know the difference between them:

• Profile views — how many times your public profile page itself has been opened, regardless of whether the visitor clicked anything once they got there.
• Link clicks — clicks on the individual link buttons on your profile, broken down per link so you can see which one performs best.
• Short link clicks — clicks on your separate htlk.me short links, tracked independently since those are often shared outside of your main profile page (in a post, an email, or printed material). This metric only appears once you've enabled the Short Links Advanced Feature in Settings → Advanced.

Profile views and link clicks appear as separate metrics at the top of your Analytics page by default, and each has its own chart showing activity over time; short link clicks joins them once Short Links is turned on.
