Common Import Problems and How to Fix Them

Import Links is available on the Pro and Agency plans. If you run into trouble while importing, here is what to check.

Importing from a URL

• Make sure the page you are importing from is publicly accessible — HotiLINK cannot scan a page that requires a login to view.
• If no links are detected, the page may use a format HotiLINK cannot read automatically. Try the CSV import method instead as a fallback.

Importing from a CSV

• Confirm your file has exactly two columns named title and url.
• Make sure every URL includes https:// (or http://) — a bare domain without the protocol may not be recognized.
• Save the file as a standard .csv, not .xlsx or another spreadsheet format.

Links didn't import

If a link you expected to import is missing, check whether you already have an identical link in your account — HotiLINK automatically skips duplicates during import, which is expected behavior, not an error.
